Tetherdown School use Pabulum catering services. We feel strongly about educating the younger generation on healthy eating by providing fresh and wholesome food, as it's through a balanced diet and healthy food choices that children can maintain higher classroom concentration levels. Our food is freshly prepared in Tetherdown's school kitchen and is locally sourced.
Breaktime Healthy Treats
Children in Reception, Years 1 & 2 will be offered a piece of fruit, usually at morning break, as part of the National Fruit Scheme. The children in Year 3 to 6 are allowed to bring in a piece of fruit for play times. Sweets, chewing gum and crisps are not allowed. Please remember that we are a no nuts school.
Children may also bring in a little treat to share with their friends in class, usually on the occasion of their birthday. Please ensure these are healthy treats, such as fruit or another tiny gift such as donating a book to the school library for all children to enjoy which is preferable.
