Rec-Y6 Free School Meals (FSM)
Your child will automatically get a free school meal (so will not need to pay) if they go to a government-funded (not private) school and are in reception up to the end of year six.
For children in reception, year 1 and Year 2
Free school meals for reception to Year 2 pupils are provided as part of the universal infant free school meals programme (UIFSM).
For children in year 3 and above
Free school meals for Year 3 to Year 6 pupils are provided through the Mayor of London’s temporary funding scheme. We will assume all new children have school meals unless you contact us to advise they need a packed lunch. If you are selecting a packed lunch, please inform the office of your decision. We strongly encourage children to have school dinners to encourage and promote social skills and to receive a balanced meal a day. You will have the option to change your selection before the next half term, but not during the half-term.
