Sport Premium

The PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of PE, sport and physical activity.

Funding is allocated according to the number of eligible primary-aged pupils and must be used to make additional, sustainable improvements—not to replace the school’s existing PE provision. At Tetherdown, we use this funding to increase participation, develop staff expertise and provide a broader range of inclusive sporting opportunities for all pupils.
