Year 5 Dance Festival !
Strictly Tetherdown took to the Stage!
On Thursday 21st March, ten excited Year 5 students showcased their talents with style as they amazed audiences with their Charleston dance routine that they had previously learnt in a PE lesson. The performances by our Year 5 Students were a testament to their commitment, passion for dance and eagerness to refine their routine within the hour in the dance workshop held by the Highgate Students.
They pulled off a captivating piece of choreography to a Shawn Mendes song, taught by a former Tetherdown student! With their infectious energy and dedication, they perfected their skills under the guidance of their dance teachers, improving every step and gesture. Their hard work paid off as they not only performed one piece of dance for other schools but two dance pieces.
We also had the honour to be able to witness the professional dancers from Highgate Junior School, who took to the stage with such confidence and poise and it definitely gave our Year 5’s something to aspire to!
