School Council Trip to Parliament
What a privilege to visit Parliament!
School Council members in year 2-6, had the privilege of attending parliament last week to find out more about our democratic system and the role of a member of Parliament. They had a tour of Parliament, including the chance to sit in the House of Commons and the House of Lords. At the end of our visit we learnt about the Suffragettes and how we can see change in our local community. We also look forward to meeting Catherine West soon, our local MP, as she has offered to visit the school.
