Youth Chinese Test (YCT) Examination
Our aim is to motivate our pupils to challenge themselves and to pass the level 1 test in Year 5 and then get ready for their further study in secondary school.
The YCT test took place for the first time in Tetherdown Primary school in May. Fifteen students participated in this test and are delighted how well everyone did. Next year we will encourage more students to be involved in this test.
YCT is an international standardized Chinese language test which is directed at examining non-native primary and secondary school students' ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and daily lives.
