Learning Comes Alive with a Hands-On Fab Science Workshop
🫀 From Brains to Hearts: A Fantastic Science Adventure!
On Thursday 8th October we took part in an exciting, hands-on science workshop with a Fab Scientist! We began by exploring our amazing brains and senses before learning about the circulatory system and investigating our lung capacity.
The highlight of the workshop was dissecting real sheep hearts in small groups. With expert guidance, we explored the heart's structure and discovered how it pumps blood around our bodies. For anyone who preferred not to take part in the dissection, there was a creative origami heart activity instead.
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring our science learning to life, ask questions and discover just how incredible the human body really is!
