Time-Travel Adventure for Year 4!
Time‑Travel Adventure — Our young historians enjoyed an inspiring trip to Verulamium Museum — curiosity in full swing! 🔍🏺
Both Year 4 classes spent the day at the Verulamium Museum at St Alban’s where we investigated and got hands on with genuine Roman artefacts that were thousands of years old, investigated beautiful Roman mosaics that were unearthed directly at the site, visited and looked at the nearby hypercaust: underfloor heating beneath the mosaic of a huge Roman villa. In the picture we can see Jaguars children playing ‘Three Men’s Morris’, a game a bit like Tic Tac Toe where you have to place three counters in a row on a square board.
