Sleeper Chair Appeal for the Whittington Hospital
We made a promise to dad that we'd stay by his side.
Earlier this year, my dad passed away in our local hospital. During his final days, my mum and I stayed by his bedside, but like many families, we had to sleep on hard plastic chairs. It was an exhausting and difficult time. Because of this experience, I have been raising funds with The Whittington to help buy proper sleeper chairs so other families can stay comfortably with their loved ones when it matters most. This matters especially because it’s our local hospital, which we all rely on and may need at some point.
