Year 5 Methodist Church Visit
Year 5 enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Methodist church this week.
The children listened carefully as they learnt about the Christmas story and discussed what it means to different people today. They were able to explore the church building and discover the many special items found inside, such as the font, the pulpit and the stained-glass windows. The children asked thoughtful questions and showed great respect as they found out how each part of the church is used during worship. It was an interesting and peaceful trip that helped everyone understand more about faith, community and the true message of Christmas.
