Year 5 WW2 Day!

Our Year 5 pupils had a fantastic WW2 Day at school!
The children arrived dressed as evacuees, complete with labels, caps and small suitcases, which really helped bring history to life. Throughout the day they took part in exciting, hands-on activities. They learnt how to crack secret codes, just like wartime spies, and created their own propaganda posters in the style of the artist Cyril “Fougasse” Kenneth Bird.
The classrooms were buzzing with creativity and teamwork as the children imagined what life might have been like during the Second World War. It was a memorable day full of fun, learning and imagination.
