Year 5&6 Cross Country Success

3K cross-country race, and we could not have been prouder of them!

On Monday, our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a 3K cross-country race, and we could not have been prouder of them! For many of our children, this was their very first time running such a long distance, yet they showed incredible focus, determination, and resilience from start to finish. We are extremely proud of every single runner who represented our school with such effort and spirit.

The results: Our girls’ team finished 9th overall

Our boys’ team achieved an impressive 3rd place.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Girls’ Race (132 runners):
  • Two outstanding performances, with finishes in 4th and 6th place
  • Plus two more of our girls secured places in the top 90
  • Boys’ Race (120 runners):
  • One pupil achieved a fantastic 4th place finish 🏅
  • Three pupils ran brilliantly to finish in the top 35
This was a brilliant achievement for all involved well done, everyone! 👏
