Tetherdown On Track!

A huge well done to all our pupils for their fantastic effort, teamwork, and determination

Over the 3 days the Quad Kids and Athletics Championship events brought together schools from across the Haringey borough to compete and showcase their talents in such an exciting and fun competition.

  • On Monday 19th May, our Year 5/6 pupils participated in the Quad Kids Competition at New River. Every participant competed in all events, which included: a 75m sprint (Y5/6), 600m run (Y5/6) and the howler throw, and long jump. They came 8th place out of 19 schools in the Quad Kids Competition.
  • On Tuesday 20th May, our Year 3/4 boys and girls participated in the Quad Kids Competition at New River.

Every participant competed in all events, which included: A 60m sprint (Y3/4), 400m run (Y3/4), the howler throw and long jump. They came 9th place out of 22 schools in the Quad Kids Competition

  • On Wednesday 21st May, our Year 5/6 boys and girls represented the school in the Athletics Championship Tournament. Events included: Howler, running long jump, standing triple jump, shot put, 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, and relay races for both boys and girls.

The Y5/6 Girls came 8th place out of 12 school Championships.

The Y5/6 Boys came 3rd place out of 12 school Championships – Bronze medal winners!
