Rainbow Day - Promoting World Peace

Today the children and staff promoted world peace and support for the refugee crisis around the world focusing on fundraising for the current Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. We are ecstatic to announce that we have raised a whopping £933.44!!! Thank you, Tetherdown Community!

They did this magnificently through their artistic skills: drawing and colouring orange hearts on a white flag as well as writing poems on orange hearts in support of Show Your Heart. These are displayed together with the rainbow peace flag in the windows of the Hub area and can be seen from the Upper playground.  The children also had great fun dressing up in rainbow colours too - we saw rainbow dresses, tops, skirts and even rainbow hair and wonderful face paint designs!
