🌟 The Amazing Team: Your Heart and Oxygen 💓​​​​​​​

On Tuesday 13th October we took part in an exciting cardiac workshop where we learnt all about the importance of oxygen in our bodies and how our hearts work.  

We used dance and movement to help us understand how the heart pumps oxygen-rich blood around the body. This brought the circulatory system to life and helped us visualise how oxygen travels to all the cells that need it to keep us alive and healthy. 

We then discovered what happens during a heart attack and worked together to act out a hospital emergency! Using medical props, we explored how doctors treat patients and learnt about a procedure called cardiac catheterisation. 

A huge thank you to Ona’s mum, Daisy, and Jazzy’s mum, Sara, who led the workshop and brought our learning to life. We are incredibly lucky to have such supportive parents who generously share their time, knowledge and expertise to create such memorable learning experiences for us!
