⚽🏃 Learning Through Sport and Play

🌟 Building confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills through active learning! 🌟

Monday 8th June, selected pupils from Y5 and Y6 enjoyed an exciting Sports and Play Trip, where they had the opportunity to take part in a range of sporting activities including basketball, dodgeball, table tennis and the increasingly popular game of padel. Despite the weather, the children showed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. They embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and kindness towards the staff running the sports sessions and to each other.
After enjoying lunch together, pupils spent their afternoon in an adventure playground, where they were able to experience OPAL in a different environment. They were able to enjoy free play, tabletop games and a variety of team activities, both inside and outside.
The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to stay active, develop friendships and build confidence while representing the school exceptionally well. We were very proud of their positive attitude and exemplary behaviour throughout the day.
