Sprucing Up Our School Grounds Together 🛠️✨
Our school community rolled up their sleeves this week for a fantastic Make, Do & Mend session! 🌼From repairing playground equipment to refreshing garden areas, everyone worked with teamwork, care, and plenty of smiles. 🌳💚
We had an incredibly successful Make, Do and Mend Day on the 1st of March. Parents, children and teachers came together to improve our school grounds for play and biodiversity!
- We re-organised our entire OPAL shed and brought out a lot of new play equipment.
- We prepared our nature reserve and swamp for planting – a lot of very old astro-turf was successfully dug up.
- We created three new play zones to include water and bubble play, small world play and a calm reading zone.
- And most importantly, we worked hard and laughed as a community.
A huge thank‑you to all the pupils, staff, and families who came out and helped for everyone to enjoy.
