We would like to share how inspiring your children’s short films were. We were truly impressed by their creativity and talent, with around 37 films submitted and over 68 children taking part.
The films showed a fantastic range of techniques, and it was clear that the children had carefully planned their stories and characters. The overall standard was excellent.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our judges, Amir and Catriona, who generously gave their time to watch every film, judge them alongside me, and record thoughtful video feedback for the children. It was a significant undertaking, and we are extremely grateful.
A special thank you to Fraser and Gabriel in Year 6 for designing and printing the fidget prizes, many of which Gabriel produced at home using his 3D printer. They have also designed the medals for our winners.
We were also fortunate to receive a special message from Hollywood. Actor, writer, and director Clarke Peters recorded an inspiring video for the children, sharing valuable insights into the film industry.
All participants will receive a certificate and a fidget prize, with winners receiving an additional award.
Well done to everyone involved. We look forward to sharing the films again at the Summer Exhibition.
