Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic Benin Day, deepening their knowledge and understanding of Ancient Benin through a range of exciting hands-on activities. The day began with a captivating storytelling workshop that brought the oral traditions of the Benin Kingdom to life. With music, instruments, and expressive performance, the children recreated the vibrant atmosphere of historical Benin right here at Tetherdown! They also showcased their creativity by crafting clay artefacts and models inspired by Benin art and culture. It was a truly inspiring and immersive day of learning and celebration!
