Intergenerational Music Workshop

Year 4 Leopard class brought joy to Spring Lane Care Home in a heartwarming music workshop led by musician Mary.  Highlights included singing “I Bring My Body Over the Ocean” with gestures, a Beatles tune that stirred memories and a creative activity where everyone helped write and sing new lyrics to Grieg’s Morning Mood.  The session ended with gentle conversations — a first for many pupils visiting a care home. We look forward to our weekly sessions this half-term, nurturing connection through music and joy.
