It’s been a fantastic summer term packed with energy, enthusiasm, and sporting success! Our pupils in Years 4, 5, and 6 have taken part in a wide range of competitions and events, showing incredible skill, determination, and teamwork. Here’s a round-up of some of our children's recent achievements.

Year 5 Dance Project

Both Year 5 classes worked extremely hard over five weeks, to learn and remember a dance routine set to two pieces of music. They all showed Adam and their teachers great focus, creativity and teamwork throughout and week by week built their confidence and refined their movements. All their dedication came together in a brilliant final performance at the school exhibition, they wowed the audience with their energy, rhythm and expression. A big well done to the Year 5 pupils for their fantastic effort and for performing with such pride and joy.

Year 5&6 Cricket Team - Narrow Miss, Strong Performance

Our Year 5 and 6 boys competed in a Group B cricket tournament and delivered an impressive performance. The team won four matches in the group stage, showcasing great teamwork and sportsmanship. Their final game was a close and thrilling match that ended in a narrow loss. Although they missed out on advancing to the next round by just one point, finishing fifth overall, it was a commendable effort. Well done, boys!

Year 6 Netball-Friendly Sportsmanship Shines

Our Year 6 boys and girls took part in a friendly high-five netball tournament against Rhodes Avenue School. It was an exciting afternoon filled with teamwork, adaptability, and great sportsmanship. Most of our Year 6 pupils participated, quickly learning the rules and enjoying every moment. A truly fun and memorable experience!

Gymnastics Competition - Silver and Strong Finishes

Our Year 4 and Year 5/6 gymnastics teams took part in a challenging competition, mastering the Body Management Routine, Floor Exercise, and Vaults. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and early morning training our students put in to prepare. Year 4 competed against 10 schools and earned a fantastic 2nd place silver medal! Year 5 & 6 faced strong competition from 9 schools and placed a respectable 5th overall.

A huge well done to all gymnasts for their hard work and determination!

Year 4&6 Shine in Mini Tennis Doubles!

Our tennis squads in Year 4 and Year 6 took to the courts in a doubles format competition, and their teamwork and communication truly stood out.
