Michael Holland Author Visit

I ate sunshine for breakfast

Year 3 and 4 were lucky to be visited by Michael Holland, who grew up very close to our school, to share his beautiful book, ‘I ate sunshine for breakfast’. Michael talked about the importance of plants in our lives and shared some everyday objects, usually made of plastic, such as a sugar cane water bottle and a burger box made of corn. Those children who purchased the book will be thoroughly engaged with the facts and activities, this holiday.
