On Friday 22nd January 10 children represented the school in the ‘P Cubed Challenge’ tag rugby competition organised by London Skolars. This special event was held at the Honourable Artillery Company, a unique venue right in the heart of the city. The children had a challenging group facing Coldfall and Rhodes Avenue. In an exciting opening match against Coldfall the team were fantastic, showing great attacking and defensive skill, eventually running out 3-1 winners. In an extremely close second match against Rhodes Avenue the children had to battle the difficult conditions and were narrowly beaten 4-2. The children then played a 3rd place playoff game against an all-boys team; much to the initial dismay of our girls. However, as soon as the whistle blew the girls showed their skill with some spectacular contributions resulting in a 2-1 win for Tetherdown. After the game the children enjoyed watching an exhibition match as the London Skolars took on the Wigan Warriors - an exciting finale to our aspiring rugby players.

A big well done to: Richard, Joel, Jamie, Adrian Freddy, Harry, Amani, Izzy, Isabel and Amy.
