School Closure Information

Following advice by Boris Johnson, PM to take action and close the school, we are now closed to the vast majority of pupils from Friday 20th March until further noticeWe will continue to support our community of pupils through remote home learning.

How the school are supporting our community of pupils and families
  • School Closure information letter from Mr Woodward - this documents details of planning, home learning, communication, managing isolation period and key worker planning. 
  • Pupils with at least one parent or carer who are identified as critical workers by the government and whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response can send their children to school if required by completing our online critical key worker form found here.  Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept home. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be (Gov 19.3.2020). If you do not identify as a critical key worker do not complete this form.
  • Home learning activities have been set up for pupils in Lower, Middle and Upper phases which is accessed here
  • Should you decide to self isolate your child click here for a generic list of activities available to absent children at Tetherdown. 
  • Regular communication via ParentMail - please continue to check your ParentMail account for updates.
