Most of the children walk to school and this is something we like to encourage in our aim to be a 'healthy school'. If you do drive to school we ask you to take particular care along Collingwood Avenue and Grand Avenue - the parked cars on either side of the road make crossing a particular hazard.

Please remember that it is an offence to park on the yellow zig-zag lines outside the school. Even if you are late and in a hurry there is no excuse for parking here, which could endanger the life of a child crossing. Our local homebeat officer would be happy to patrol to ensure the safety of children, if necessary.
